Porgy’s sets out to bridge that gap, offering a direct source for sustainable, wild-caught seafood while providing an outlet and a platform for Louisiana’s traditional, multi-generational, and independent fisheries. The upshot is the creation of a space in the supply chain for bycatch, or unwanted species that are typically discarded. Our case selection is every changing with fishermen delivering at all times.
